How to remove a trigger

How is the trigger removed from a 73 650 3 cyl?<br /><br />I removed the distribute cap but it appears the rotor is fixed to the shaft and can't be removed. And the trigger is beneath the rotor. Do I have to completely disassemble the distributor?<br /><br />pwp

actually the rotor is made on the shaft. it does not come off. yep the only access to the trigger is removing and dissasembling the distributor. I have not done it in a long time cause most all the old motors are long gone in my area but memory reminds me its a pain.
