How to remove the optical timing encoder wheel withou destroying it ?

Hello All

Does anyone have any tips for removing the plastic optical encoder wheel from the crank shaft
without destroying it, i have to replace my optical sensor, or should i just order a new one while i am at it.

1993 evenrude intruder 175 hp
