How to Seal ??

My cousin took the Trim off this Starcraft for his and then decided not to use it, Now I want to seal it up and put the trim Back on..

I was going to use 3M 5200 but the gaps are too big and the 5200 is too runny to stay in place until it cures...

Does anyone have any suggestions

Marine-tex......sandable/moldable/paintable...hell i think you can even use it as bait
