how to set up lean rich dial

It is a 1978 ropestart.<br />Usually you would close the needle all the way so it sits snug.Then turn it back for a turn and a half.From there on it is fine tuning with the boat running in the water.Close the needle until the engine starts stuttering.then open it a quarter turn from there.<br />good luck.
