LOL...iwombat and jtexas...i did say unglugged instead of unplugged huh?!

good eyes fellas :)

I put the tester in between the spark plug boot and the spark plug itself.

I will retry to attach it to the block and let you know.

With the plugs in, it's hard for the starter to get up to the correct RPMs for a spark check. That may be why you saw the weak spark. 600rpm and to plugs in the loop and I'll bet you get a nice spark.

Took out the plugs and Yes indeed I got a real nice spark!!!!

I also did a compression test and it read between 90-95 BUT the motor was cold. I didnt want to wake up the neigbors by warming it up.

If my spark is good does that mean its not my coils or power pack? Or could it still possibly be a power pack.

Well I pulled off my carbs and took off the bowl and they look really clean inside.

I feel so close yet so far !!!

To test for load out of the water on muffs Just find one of those jet ski kids and have him hold the prop while you rev it up.The kid with the booming stereo that keeps driving by your house at three in the morning could probably do a good job as well....WoW..Did I say that out loud?

Seriously though,The bowls being clean is good as long as your needles and seats are clean and working.Do as tashasdaddy said and make sure the jets are all clear.Use a can of gumout with the straw while you have them apart.

Good healthy spark indicates coils are good, wires are good, and power pack is at least firing the coils off. It could still be firing them off at the wrong times, but if you're not getting backfires that's probably not the case. I'd say you've narrowed it down to the carbs.

I too hope we narrowed it down to the carbs. I wouldnt have been able to do it without all the help on here! Well I have the carbs out and I guess I need to start cleaning them. I will go to the store to buy some gumout as suggested. Is there anything specific that I should focus on? Do I need to take out all the jets?

You need to remove all the jets, core plugs, etc. soak the carb body in a can of cleaner, reassemble and blow out all passages with compressed air (preferably) or aerosol carb cleaner (if you don't have air).
