How to tell a 200hp powerhead from a 225hp Evinrude

How can one tell the diference between a 200hp and a 225hp power head. I believe its a 1987 Johnson/Evinrude. I picked pu the power head separately and would like a deffinate way of telling.

Carbs only difference.

Small carbs (200hp) have 2 screws holding the throttle plate to the shaft.
Large carbs (225hp) have 3 screws holding the throttle plate to the shaft.

There is about 3/8" difference in the throat size between a 200 and a 225 carb, but you will not have anything to compare to.

Well, to be absolutely accurate, there are head differences too. You will not be able to tell unless you pull the head, tho. Easiest is to look down the carb throats.
