How to tell Hrs on 05-90Hp 4 Stroke Suzuki

Have not figured out how to tell how many hrs are on the motor. I turn the key over, it has the solid beep with the warning lights that come on, when beeping/lights finish/go off the RMP gauge goes up to 20 (2000) mark then holds a few seconds then falls.

How do I read this?

That is telling you the hours. Your Owner's manual has the code.
