Hi all,
I had a leak in one of the lines of my trim rams. I bought the new lines and while trying to replace them, one of the bolts on the ram was frozen. So I took them both off to work on them on the bench.. I got the bolt off without an issue, but I then tried to push in on the ram it self (to see if it would move in and out), and it did not move. So I did a quick search on google and found a video of someone easily pushing it in and out. Now the rams did work before, but I also know that hydraulic force is MUCH higher than I could push, so if it was seized(ish) it would overcome that. So I went ahead and bought a new pair as I did not want to put too much stress on the outdrive or other components. So I got the new ones yesterday, and guess what I can not push those in either.. Pretty sure they are not bad.. So I guess my question is, did I just waset my money on buying new rams for nothing?
Thanks for your help as always.
