Does anyone know how to test a stator coil to determine if it is working or not? My starboard engine currently does not want to start. I am not getting any spark.
I had the same issue last year with my port engine and it turned out to be the neutral switch after wasting four trips and a month of frustration taking it to Gates Marina and spending almost a grand there and they still could not fixed the problem and they almost got me to spend another 2k for a new CPU. I posted an ad on multiple fish forums and someone suggested the neutral switch and that was the solution to the problem. Never going back to Gates Marina in Deale again.
So now I am returning to the fish forums again to see if anyone can help me with this issue. I already checked the neutral switch and it checked OK. Thanks for your help.....
