i messed up and moved the adjustment lever on my 140 1992 loop charge and i dont know how to get it back. the motor says to time it to 18 deg BTDC but it wont adjust any farther than about 4 deg ATDC. it seems to run ok though.
you motor says 18 degrees, with this method, use 14 deg BTC. are you sure you are on the correct plug wire? top right cylinder from the back? if you look closely, the spark plugs are not level across from each other. one side is higher than the other. the highest plug is the #1.
