how to use mystery oil ?

as a precaution.. after long storage of my outboard.. i picked a bottle of marvel mystery oil... how much of the oil do you pour in to the cylinders ?? can someone share there technique ?? thanks again .

You can't pour to much. Why? Do you just want make sure the cylinders are free?

on monday a marine mechanic is coming over to check compression, before perfoming maintance... motor has been sitting for a few years...by hand turning the flywheel for the first time..not frozen.. should i still use the mystery oil ?? this was realized after the post.. one other question about the mystery oil... once in the cylinders... can it sit for awhile or does it have to be started to burn it out...thanks:rolleyes:

I add a 'little' to the gas, year round (in all my gas motors).
That stuff is sticky so don't over do it:)

yeah it's sticky... whats the trick in spreading the oil evenly in the cylinders.. i was thinking about a small painters brush... real hair not fiber brush.. so i can coat the tops of the piston.. anyone tried this ??

Snake oil. It's nothing but transmission fluid and kerosene.

Just lube it up with 2 cycle oil.
