Re: how to use the quick start

Quick Start isn't something you turn on or off. It's just like your late model car or truck. When you stsrt the motor it revs up sliightly by itself. as it warms up it'll idle down by itself. No need to advance the throttle, just don't shift until the idle comes down.

The best method we've found is to;
1- Pump the bulb. This fills the carb bowls and creates line pressure in the system.
2- Turn the key to the On position but not to the Start position.
3- Push the key in to activate the primer solenoid and hold it in for a 5 or 6 count. This will release fuel that's under pressure into the intake system.
4- Turn the key to the Start position to engage the starter. The motor should start almost instantly.

As it starts you may have to bump the primer a couple of times but it'll warm up and idle down. All of this assumes the motor is healthy and working correctly.
