Fill Gas Tank up and add Stabilizer(Stabil)to Fuel Tank (Proper amount will be on bottle).
Run engine at least 5 Minutes to circulate treated Fuel into Carbs.
Buy a can of Fogging Oil (Spray) at your local Dealer or Auto Parts store. With engine running at fast idle, Spray fogging Oil into Carborators equally until engine dies.
Remove and Replace Spark Plugs with New Ones.
Drain lower unit and check for Water. A creamy consistency and color means Water is getting into the lower unit. If OK, useing new washers or "O" rings, whichever yours has, and refill Lower Unit with proper fluid.
Remove Prop and check for debris(Fishing Line, Ect.) around Prop shaft and hub. Use anti-seize compound on shaft and install prop if OK.
Coat the Motor with a light spray of WD-40 to protect it from moisture over the winter.
Grease all fitting.
Store in the full "Down Position".

Should be good to go in the spring!

A Manual will have all this and more, plus where everything is located, in it. I would order one from HERE These are Factory Manuals and are the best!

I should mention that all of the things that you will need are available at Walmart or Napa Auto Parts. And of course, your Dealer!

what he said plus pull each plug and hit each piston with fog. rotate the engine without ignition (pull wires) to distribute fog thoughout cylinder. replace plugs. in the spring run engine tuner, run motor to burn off all of that fogging oil then put in clean, gapped plugs.

don't forget to clean the prop shaft and coat with marine corrosion control grease.

check anodes.
check prop/skeg for damage
REPLACE FUEL FILTER EVERY SPRING...those cheap plastic ones can start to leak and cause problems.
Check fuel lines/oil lines for leaks and deterioration.

hope this helps out. :p
