I have two wires coming from the motor, obviously a black and red wire, and I also have a jumper wire. How do I need to attach said wires?

Are you replacing an older motor with a newer one?

No, I bought a 3 bank charger from Bass Pro Shops, it was their XPS system. It turned out to be a POS and they shipped me a second one and it was broke right out of the box. I finally exchanged it for a Go Charge system. But I foolishly did not pay any attention to the wires when I took it loose this last time.

Two batteries. Jumper goes between the positive on one battery and the negative on the other. Red from trolling motor goes on remaining positive, black on remaining negative. This gives you 24 V only, but it sounds like that's what your motor takes.

Here ya go. You said you have a three bank charger but only two will be needed for the 24 volt troller. Use the third output for the starting battery.
