How to wire a tach

Hello, I'm woundering if anyone knows the wiring lay out of the pigtail connector for the tach, I've looked everywhere for the correct pigtail but can't find it anywhere so I figured I would just put male connectors on 3 wires and run them my self but I can't find a wiring diagram for the 3 pin setup

Does it have a light ? you should have 4 wires going to it , not 3. what are the wire colors for your pigtail ?

either way it should be really straight forward wiring it up even without the pigtail. The 4 (3 with no light ) wires should be this below.

Signal - negative side of coil
12v signal from ignition
ground
light

The little plug for the pigtail that comes off my controls only has 3 wires I did figure out which one was the accessorie power though, I still cant find the actual pigtail and I don't want to damage the output plug because I know as soon as I do I'm going to find the pigtail. That's the way it always goes
