I like to use my boat to go scuba diving and would like to get some hot water from it after a dive in the cold so cal waters. I have a f200 and I know that some of my buddies are able to by pass some hoses in there Honda's to get hot water once the motor is run for a while.

On the Yamaha all the water passages a in the engine block. I was thinking of by passing a hose from the thermostat hose?

Is there another way to do this and get some hotwater??

Thx in advance for any helpful info.

the yamaha doesnt have external water hoses from the tstat discharge, you may try to drill and tap the housings but I think there will be a clearence issue.
I would worry using the water temp or presure ports as you may suffer a loss of water presure if you open them up.
as the F motors have a fairly healthy charging system and all US market 4cyl and up are prewired with a battery isolator to charge a house battery why not look into a small DC hot water heater or use an inverter and a small AC hot water heater.
