I will be home from my second tour in Afghnistan in 84days with the 82nd ABN Division. I have been saving my deployment money, and I am going to buy a Sea Pro 206 DC. I do a alot of Water Skiing, and I got down to my parents house in Amelia Island and do some fishing. I want the boat to do atleast 50mph. So I wanted to ask will the 200 Optimax do the trick, or a 200 Verado?
Thanks,
Joe

Good to hear from you. my advice is to put the engine closest to the rate hp of the boat. you don't have to use all of it, all the time. i personally am a johnny/rude man 2 stroke man. Etec. also from Jacksonville. also buying a properly maintained used boat will save a bunch of gas money.

Keep you head down, and thanks for being there.

A. B. F S.....Anything but a four-stroke. You need the hole shot more than you need a lower sound level.

Thanks for the information, the boat I am getting ready to buy already has the 200 Optimax on it. So I will just stick with the power thats already on it. But what do you think it will top end at. I hope atleast 50mph.
Thanks,
Joe
