HPF oil types?

I am planning on changing my gear oil in my omc sterndrive and was just wondering what the difference is between evinrude/ johnson regular HPF oil, HPF Pro and HPF XFR? Thanks for your time>

I'd love to know the difference also. I know the Cobra calls for OMC Hi-Vis, which I don't believe is synthetic. I ended up buying the HPF XFR.

From what I understand, Ultra HPF is the synthetic of Hi-Vis (better). And Ultra HPF XR is the newer and better version of Ultra HPF. The Ultra HPF Pro has a different formula and additives then HPF XR, and it labeled for high performance or commerical. I don't think the pro stuff is needed for your average recreational boater.

I have used the Merc high performance gear lube (greenish blue) synthetic gear lube at my mechanic's advice for the past 4 seasons with good results. My OMC does not mind Merc oil in it!
