html to UBB format I need to post a picture

I have a picture of a motor part that I'd like to ask a question about but it is in html format. <br />The html url is: <br />www.geocities.com/meaux2/Whatisit.JPG<br />By copying and pasting the above in your addresss box, you can see what I'm trying to ask about.<br /><br />Please give it a try and also tell me how to use the UBB feature in this forum. I read the instructions but can't get it to work for me.<br /><br />The motor is a 40 hp 1963 Johnson.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Meaux

First off, the path you gave to the picture is incorrect.<br /><br />Secondly, if you click "image" at the bottom of the edit page, it will take care of the BBS code...<br />It will post the following<br />

Schematic<br /><br /> Thanks for the reply. Since my first post, I have learned that "geocities" will not allow me to have my stored pictures posted in a chat room or on a bulletin board. Somehow I am in violation of their policies when I try it.<br /><br />Please try this:<br /><br />Copy and paste the following url to the "address" box at the top of your screen and see if you can view the following url:<br /><br />www.geocities.com/meaux2/Whatisit.JPG<br /><br />It should show the Johnson 40 motor part that I would like to have someone identify for me i.e. tell me it's function.<br /><br />It works for me when I do the above.<br /><br />I appreciate your patience.<br /><br />Meaux

(Cut & Paste from an older thread). Go into your album and view a picture that you want to post. Right-click the picture and then (from the pop-up menu) select "Properties". Then you will see the web address (URL) of the picture. Drag the mouse across the URL with the left button down to select it, then right click the selected URL and chose "Copy".<br />Now go back to iboats and enter your post, press the "Image" button and then paste the URL into the popup box. Do this by right-clicking the box and selecting "Paste".<br /><br />Here is his pic. I had no trouble viewing it but I am not sure what it is.<br />
