hub & bearing question(s)

Hey there...I'm taking my trailer in to replace bearings & seals this weekend and want to know if anyone replaces their hubs on a regular basis. I'm going to be traveling for about 400 miles with it next week so I want to make sure all goes well and no suprises .....Also...I've had the boat & trailer for about 8 yrs and don't use it too much...5 - 6 times a year. Think I should go ahead and replace tires just to be cautious? I've never changed them and I have no idea how long they've been on there. tread looks good though.

The hub should really not wear out unless a bearing was allowed to fail and it was chewed up



Trailer tires allmost never use full tread depth like a car tire ,they generaly get ROT of some type around 5 Years


So at 8 years + your tires are on borrowed time
