Hub installation?

OK, so I've decided to get a new prop, picked out a Michigan Wheel SS, and it needs a specific hub kit as it is a somewhat universal housing.
When mail ordering these, are they generally delivered preassembled or will I need to get a local shop to press this hub into the housing?

I believe those hubs are motor specific. Simply get the kit for your application, and the install is really plug and play. Not pressed, just slides in and your ready to go.

I was wondering about some of this too. It seems like a good idea. It's cheaper to buy once you have the hub. But, if every time you get a prop strike it shells out the hub too it's not any cheaper then a regular prop.

Any comments? PM me if you like.

I guess my concern is that if it just slides in, is it going to get loose or wobbly, or does the torque on the nut "expand" it for a snug fit against the hub like a molly bolt?

I don't know exactly, don't own one, but MW seems to have a good reputation in the prop biz. Many brands of props have replaceable hubs. Have not heard of a tendency to fail. Perhaps someone who has seen problems w/them will chime in.
