Hello guys,

I have a few hull chips near the eye of my Ranger. The chips are small, one about the size of a nickel and the other is the size of a pea. I have heard that this is a tough area to fix because of the rubbing?

My hull is white and it has chipped to a black colored surface.

Thanks!

Welcome to iboats.

What you need to do is considered a Gel Coat repair.

Do a quick search and look for that term "Gel Coat repair"

Hello Toadchaser ( dont even want to know ;) )

aye simple gel repairs..

Dont know if gel repair search will help you get better access to your repair so Ill help here..

Block the tires of your trailer..

Jack up your trailer.. Block up the front of your keel were it just stops curving.. lower your trailer just enough to relieve the weight on your roller(s).. take your roller(s) off ( 3/4" socket and wrench I believe ).

Repair as needed.
