Hey now, I've got a question ( yeah, like that hasn't happened before in this thread already by me )
I never did read, or ask...why did you decide on extending the boat 5 feet? It's kind of an odd number. I mean, you could have made it anything you wanted to really. Was there some mathematical reason for it? Did you have a certain interior layout that required 5 feet, or did it just sound like a good number at the time?
( just trying to do my part to keep the high drama going)
Looks like it should be a soft easy ride with the hull stretched out like that! Great job!
ive got to put a new front axel on it anyhoo........id much rather just buy another trailer, but i cant find any good used ones.
i was gonna try for aprox 150 lbs on the tounge....that way i can still pick it up by hand if need be.
When I bought my boat it was setup like that, 3200# boat/trailer with 150# on the tongue so it could be picked up by hand. After the first trip with the trailer tail wagging I quickly adjusted the axle and bow mount to get 400# on the tongue. No more white knuckle rides for me![]()
Well, if it makes ya feel any better about it oops!, it's finally nice enough in this state to work outside on the boat, and I get stuck doing running with the family...that and the wind up here has been something else...stupid warm front![]()
