I'm sure people have done it but I'm just wondering how hard is it to extend the hull of a fiberglass boat about 3 or 4 feet? Would the cut/join always be a weak area? Would it fool up the hydrodynamics of the boat? I know people will say just sell and buy bigger but I have a lot of work put into this boat and know whats there is solid, just wish it was a little bigger!

BTW, it will be cheaper/faster/easier to sell what you have and buy a different boat

Good choice! Once you see the reality of it, spending a few bucks for custom seats or custom storage to best maximize your current boat space doesn't sound so bad.
