Hull I.D number and boat registration Colorado

hi guys, its been a while. I have been rebuilding an old I.M.P. (Iola Molded Plastics) 14 footer. I have reglassed much of the hull and repainted topside. It's almost time to put it in the water and I cannot find the hull ID to register. I have been in every remote part of the boat and still cannot find one. I do however have the previous owners registration numbers. Any ideas on how to go about registration without the hull ID?

Isn't the HIN on the registration paper work for the boat, it should be.<br /><br />Here ,if its not titled, all we need is a bill of sale and sometimes the previous owners regestration card.

Are you talking about registrering for the CL numbers? I just filled out the paper work for my boat (in Colorado). THere is a box to check ifd there is not a HIN number. They want you to physically locate it on the boat. THANKS GUYS, SORY FOR THE DELAY, WAS GONE FOR THE HOLIDAY. iT IS FOR THE CL NUMBERS. i JUST RECHECKED MY PAPERWORK, ALL THE REGISTRATION CARDS ARE FOR THE TRAILER. i CALLED THE PREVOIUS OWNER FOR THE A BILL OF SALE (DON'T BUY FROM FRIENDS, THEY FORGET THINGS) i'M WONDERING IF I CAN GET EVERYTHING OFF THE PREVIOUS CL NUMBERS THROUGH THE STATE PARKS. THE LAST TIME IT WAS REGISTERED WAS 1995.
