Hull & Outdrive Cleaning Advice

I have have a fiberglass boat - always trailed in the past - but do to trailer rebuild issues I have been docking the boat this year. Problem is it sat for the past month without being used, so there is a lot of scum build up on the hull and the outdrive (was stored in down position).

I have the boat back on the trailer now and took it home to clean it. After some time with the pressure washer and some general "boat wash/wax" pressure washer product, there is still a fair amount of build up, and now some places where the hull paint has been blasted off. The hull paint was in lousy shape to begin with.

I see there are lots of advertised hull cleaners by CRC and others, and also a range of paint to choose from. Someone once recommended muriatic acid for hull cleaning; ostensibly that wouldn't be good to use on the metal outdrive parts. Also I've never had to strip and refinish a hull before.

I'm looking for advice of what I should do.

Thanks!
