My fathers day gift from my 2 sons was hull damage on my 2 skis (yamaha and seadoo) from rocks in the Allegheny River. What is the best way to repair them... dealer, or a good local body shop? Next if I am succesful in getting them repaired does anyone make an alumium "cover" that would fit over the entire hull?

Re: HULL REPAIR?

Ouch...well, first off, are the hulls cracked? If there is extensive damage, a dealer will really cost alot of $$$. It's not difficult to do glass work on skis, its just time consuming. As for the cover you mentioned, from my experience on pwctoday.com, Ive never heard of something like that. There is one thing on the market that comes relatively close, KeelShield or by another name KeelGuard. Its a strip about 5" wide that goes along the keel.

KeelGuard

Captn---
