Hi,

I have recently purchased a Waverider Mustang speedboat(which I believe is the successor to the Shakespeare Clubman)I have noticed that it has minor cracking on the gel coat on the bow and also some chips on the gelcoat underneath. What is the best way to rectify this - is there a product that I can buy? Also, I am removing the hidious 80s(?) decals (pink and bright green!!) from the boat and I have noticed a difference in 'brightness', how do I clean/polich the hull so that it appears equally as 'bright/shiney' all over?? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated!

Many thanks

Re: hull repair

Anytime you heat and pull off any size decals you should have a big color difference. Never heard how to make them the same. Only real way is to put back on decals the same size in colors you like. If you tossed them. Trace the decal outline and have the decal place add 1" more all around.
