Whatever boat you buy, realize that Lake Tahoe is at 6200 feet and you lose a lot of HP at that altitude. The 3.0 in the Bayliner would be a real dog.

Great point! We scratched the Bayliner off our list and have been focusing on larger fuel injection engines for exactly that reason! Good looking out!

How do you like your Sun Tracker btw?

It's good. It's not the highest quality boat in the world but it serves it's purpose for Big Bear. I use to own a Bayliner and it's way better quality than that thing was but it was built back in the 80's and they were pretty bad.
