Humminbird 525

I am looking at a Humminbird 525 fish finder. I am wondering if anybody has one can tell me how they work. I also want to do a thru hull transducer with this model.

Humingbird and I haven't had any problems. I had one of their basic models and it did all it said it'd do.

However, I do believe they all have some type of recorded tape inside that loops over and over again when showing fish .

I think you can obtain the manual for the unit from their website. Pay special attention to the thru-hull installation instructions.
