Greetings!

I have inherited a Humminbird LCR 2000 Portable fish finder. It's old, likely 25 years or more. It appears to still work; connecting it to 12VDC shows a display, pressing buttons seems to work, etc.

Problem: no transducer!

Recommend a compatible transducer?

Best Regards!

I saw several of those last night on ebay, when I was looking for a portable mount for my Humminbird, so you might take a look through.

Thanks! Managed to narrow the model# to XT-6-24 (from Humminbird Tech Support); some searching resulted in learning that an XHS-3-16 will also work. And I found a couple of those on eBay.com... but at $100 or more, not sure it's worth the money for such an old unit.

'Tis a shame to throw it out. Maybe I'll list it on eBay, someone might want it for parts.

I have an old Eagle Ultra that needed a transducer. Wanted to use it on the bow. I bought the compete unit on e-bay for under $100. And now I have a spare head. Maybe keep watching for a while. Prices can vary quite a bit on e-bay...
