Several of us have been trying to find out about those "high performance" aluminum props called Hustler. Well I bought one and tried it out today. Let me start by telling you my original setup. 17 Bayliner fish/ski with a 75hp Force, 16 pitch stock aluminum propeller, all 1996 models. Top speed at max trim was 34mph, not much, and would hardly pull a skier with more than 2 people in the boat. Not anything to write home about. So I put on the Hustler and !shazam! totally different boat. I replaced the 16pitch with a 13 for some pulling power. out of the hole like a shot and hit 35mph in notime. I had to back off the throttle at max rpm (5200) but it was only me and my 2 young boys. I figure that with a load and skier it will be plenty for us. Don't get me wrong, I am by far not an expert on props or boats but just wanted to let ya'll know about the Hustler. I will buy another housing in the 15 pitch and I bet I break 40. (hee hee hee) Maybe one of these days I'll have a bigger boat and some hog pushing it like you guys do, but for now I am totally satisfied.
