I have a 115 horse mariner. the power trim lines were replaced with brand new ones but now leak. I put teflon tape on all of them and they are still leaking. Any suggestions

If they are brand new and factory correct, they should not leak unless there was a faulty installation. They are not screwed in so tight as to crack the housings are they??<br /><br />-W

The guy that did it crossthreaded one of them. I think he was in a hurry and maybe didnt put them in right. I think they might be crossthreaded or even stripped. At least one is. do i need to retap these or buy new ones. thanks for the help
