Hydraulic lines - Should i change them my self

My hydrostream is from 1973 and has the origional hydraulic lines going to the jackplate, should i change them my self line by line, or have someone else do it?

Well in my opinion, you could eather do them yourself, or if you dont want to you could have someone else do them. Seems like its up to you. LOL sorry i couldent resist. I would do them if you think you can.

I wouldent do anything i didnt have to do. LOL im still laughing at that!!! I dont know whats wrong with me!!

If they don't leak, WHY? If they DO..YES! (all)

My oil pump problems: My question is, should i fix the problem or have someone else fix it? What i didnt understand about the origional post is how is anyone supposed to know the answer to that? He is asking if he should replace them or not. Im not sure i understand. My question to him is, should you replace them or have someone else replace them?

If you have never changed any hydrolic pressure lines before perhaps you shouldnt. You need to use the correct lines and connectors and its easy to have leaks if you arent careful.
