As the title reads "Hydraulic Trim swap from '87 70HP to '88 135HP" - can this be done?
I have a trim unit for my 135 that has developed a 3/8" hole in the connecting passage-way between the two rams and therefore needs to be replaced. I can get my hands on a trim unit from a 70HP that has a bad motor (was thinking of swapping my good trim motor for the bad and installing for use).
Images are or the two complete trim units. Note: the second image is of the trim unit that was on the 135HP and has the reservoir removed to drain all fluid after the manifold ruptured.
