Just a quick note.<br /><br />I fired up the outboard for the first time since I flushed the gearcase, and it worked flawlessly... as I expected.<br /><br />I haven't tried it under load (ie in the water) but I don't expect any problems from it due to its design, I would expect that if the soleniods have switched the pump to reverse or neutral, then the load should make no difference unless there is a fault in the actual pump or gears.. and that doesn't appear to be the case for me.<br /><br />So, rather then strip the leg, which by all accounts is a painful proocess, better you try and flush it out with fuel or something equiv as in my previous posts.<br /><br />Thanks to everyone that helped out with suggestions and information.<br /><br />kindest regards<br /><br />Frank
