I put a Sting Ray II on my 20' deep V bowrider, helped to plane quicker, hold plane at lower speed, and takes corners better at speed. It smoothed out the wake a little.
It will not do anything for the size of your wake. You can get a switchblade and it will improve your wake, but I personally wouldn't put one on my boat. The cheapest way to get a bigger wake is more people in the right places. You can also (if you have the space in rear lockers) fill coolers with lake water and place them in the lockers.
when properly adjusted the smart tabs should rise to the level of the boat causing little or no interference. For more information- pick up the phone and call John at Nauticus. You will never find another company where the President will talk to you personally!
