hydrofoil vs smart tabs?

what to do. i hear that hydrofoils r better for smaller boats but people put on smart tabs? and they perform good. then dolphins r good and not good depends on boat weight what to do!!!

Foils are rarely needed, so if you think you need something it will most likely be tabs.

What is it you're having a problem with?

not me this guy keeps saying that dolphins r better and i wanted to know if it was true. he has a 13foot whaler with a 40hp johnson he said that he has both gas tanks in back with batter oil and such. and he has a fin on it

If all he needs to do is keep the bow down, then tabs are a better product.

A foil will do it, but its not the correct application for the product and may cause other issues.

i said it puts stress on his motor but he saids its very minimal
