I have had three boats all 18 footers with the 3.0 engine... I have put them on all... I think they work great .. as far as 200, look on this website, overtons or cabalas, they are under 50 bucks, and easy to put on..

I put a Stingray foil on my boat this weekend trying to solve a porpoising problem,It did not fix the problem but did create a list to one side and and the steering pulls to the left..<br />Although the boat gets on plane better i'm taking it off and going with smart tabs..<br />Has anyone used the Nauticus brand smart tabs?

"Nauticus" is the company name, and "Smart Tabs" is the product name. Search Smart Tabs and I think you will have plenty to read. If you have specific concerns or questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks NautiJohn, I just ordered a set thru Iboats...I bought the blemished ones to save a few bucks..As long as they look ok i'm not worried if they are blemished.I just hope it solves my problems..<br />One question,Is it better to mount them as far apart as as i can on the outer edges of the transom? or better to put them in some?<br />Already got a buyer for the hydrofoil...good luck to him! <br />Thanks again!

Gary H NC.<br /><br />Your welcome! The ideal place to mount the tabs (any brand) is just inside of the chine. About 3" to 4" inside the outer edge of the boat. This allows the tabs to give you the most lateral stability when underway. You will be pleased. Post your results.

Thanks John, <br />Thats good,i won't have to relocate anything.<br />The transom is nice and flat so install should be simple.<br />Wish i could get them this week but it said it won't be shipped out untill next week..<br />I will post my results!

Smart tabs arrived in 2 days! got them installed will test this week.Can't believe how fast they were shipped.The kit was missing 8 locknuts but my local hardware had some.<br />I will post how well they worked after my wed. fishing trip!
