hydrolic break adjustment

Besides adjusting the cylnder in each drum is there a way to adjust the breaks so they start working sooner? Just seems like I have to sstop really hard before they work.....least they work tho

Have you ever flushed the system or at least blead it to make sure there is no air in it?

Bleeding the system and checking to make sure the brake shoes are not worn out. On mine there is a slot on the back side of the brake drum that you use a brake tool and turn in a star washer to tighten the brake shoes closer to the drums so it doesn't have to move so far to start braking.
