Hey gang! I was on this forum about seven years ago rebuilding a 27 foot Starcraft Chieftain and then decided to buy a campground. This winter I finally have some time to get back to
the boat and am hoping I can tap into the vast knowledge of this group. I am at the point of rigging it out, still have steering, throttle control and interior finish. Really looking forward to reconnecting with this group.

It may take longer then we'd like but admin should be able to merge old username into new user name & password.

Keep using new account & password until it doesn't work then try old user name and your current password.

New user name email account will be used.

So as I start to dig into the boat I think I have the hydraulic steering figured out. I plan on buying the etec oem throttle control and the question is do i need anything else to control the 175hp motor?

Starting to rig the outboard and need to drill a hole in the transom to accommodate all the cables and hoses. How big a hole do I need and is there a through hull fitting made for this purpose?

All the mechanicals are installed. Down to finish work, will definitely be in the water this summer!
