Long story short I aborted the duel station to center console conversion.I bought a 89 24ft. Mark Twain walk around 2 weeks ago off EBay for $405.Needed a engine and drive which I already have in the doaner boat. Two of the fish hatches were soft but I took care if this with the material I had to fix the other boat.I dont even have to change the wiring to go from OMC to Mercruiser as OMC wants to be compatable with mercruiser so they use the same harness. The engine should be going in around 10A.M today Im very excited and cant wait to bolt it up.Ill keep you posted.By the way these boats are very solid(well built) I cant wait to see how it rides. They are supposed to be good big water boats.

I really like that nice big walk around you have on your boat.

Mark Twain sold a ton of boats around here during the tri-hull era. Their 19' was especially nice and was an excellent big water boat. Don't know the particulars on them (the company), but must have been good to have sold for so long.

Mark

Thanks for the comments guys.Marks Joy I have to agree with you about the walk around. My friend has a GW walk around and its more like a schuffle around.Very narrow walking area.Well I put fresh gas in and she fired right up.All the gauges even worked except for the tach.Hope to sea trial on friday.Mark Twain boats closed in 89 this is the last year of production.

Well no sea trial yet the weather up here is bad.So I took the time to change all the switches and replace the fuses with circuit breakers.I also fabricated a new faceplate out of black plexiglass.Came out great I cant wait to get this thing on the water.
