I was having fun at Bondos' expense, that's all, kind of adding a little humor to an otherwise gloomy winter's day.

Me too. I've been challenged and proven wrong many times, and I will be again in the future I am sure. I am sorry if any of my posts offended anyone. Sometimes it is kinda fun to trade barbs though. Got to keep JB on his toes.

On my Irish side of the family they regularly got into a good ole donnybrook, but afterwords they enjoyed a nice cold (sometimes warm) beer. I think it is time for a beer!

I was told about this sight thru an Am-tech member. Like Am-tech this forum lets folks discuss problems with their engines. The beauty of this sight is the volume of questions and answers already posted. Granted, some of the advice given might not be the right way to fix a problem but from what little i have seen you all seem to cover for each other well. The experience of the mods, captians and admirals seems to be great. It's pretty obvious that the majority of us would never put any part on that may cause an explosion ( auto starters, carbs, distributers, alternators). But all we can do is keep stressing that point to those who ask the questions. We can't make them not do it, just advise. Besides, it's too early in the boating season to be bickering. Wait till September or so after all of the moaning and griping from the summer. Just my 2cents. DH
