OK GUYS! April Fool's Day! look closely at the photo. notice the cowl does not fit correctly? It is just sitting on the 55.

It would not be beyond reason to assume that I would hang an 85 on a little boat, but the extra 100 pounds over the 55 would just about put this hull under water at rest. I may be crazy, but I am not stupid. And even that is open to discussion.

The photo was taken right after I raised the transom to a full 5 inches over original. On that little Chrysler, this modification increased top speed by 3 MPH GPS.

Now I need to play with the prop and squeeze a little more HP out of the engine.

Yah know... I'm kind of glad it's not real because I figured we wouldn't hear from Frank for a while and then he'd post saying things didn't go quite as well as he had hoped and....
