It was used for smuggling drugs. It was so fast, that it could outrun the other boats. That is what it was used for.

Really?You cant outrun a radio or an aircraft/helicopter.where/when was it used?I guess it could be disposable judging by the load it could have carried in one quick trip.

I just said it outran other boats. I did not say anything about outrunning airplanes, or a radio.

It was used to run drug across the English Channel. The speed combined with the rib hull make it hard for radar to pick up. By the time the cops realized what it is they have already made it across and tucked away. It was tracked down by helicopter.
