I find it odd...

That the 2 senators from my state are going to be at my college today, and the only thing I've heard of it was about an hour ago, when one of my professors mentioned it. Even said the college hasn't made a big deal about it.

Well why the crap not? I think it's a big deal, if BOTH of your senators are coming to your college. But now that I know of it, I can go see them speak in 2 hours.

Yep. Plus, Congresswoman Bean was there(my district rep up for re-election), a bunch of mayors, and a whole lot of state politicians(senators, representatives, treasurer... ). I just don't get why things like this don't make the college sign(big sign I drive past that posts events), but all the plays of the college do.

They make it seem as if it wasn't important. I did, however, see a bunch of older people there.

And I'm pretty sure now, that Obama has his head on straight, not so sure about Bean and Durbin.

Ah, well, that's not how it seemed yesterday. But that was just one impression I got of him, as I haven't seen too much of him other than yesterday.
