Nice work replacing all those electrical components. From the sound of it, they needed replacing.
Now it sounds like a fuel/air issue. You cleaned the carbs? You didn't rebuild them?
As stated before, it sounds like you have an air leak somewhere in the carbs. Did you use new gaskets between the carbs and the intake?
I would put some fuel in a spray bottle and spray it in the throats of the carbs after I got it started, if it seems to run better, I would be checking my fuel system for air leaks.

Ok everyone thanks for your advice!! I found the problem.... Hard to start.... Spit and spuddering... No power at top end.... The cover lid locks are cam type locks witch when you tighten them down the upper bolts that fasten the lock to the hood was pressing against the a spark plug wire boot at the coil and grounding it out....the hood always was a tight fit and hard to lock it down at that one lock. I flipped the coil around with a new boot and she runs good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
