hey I just got a wellcraft nova 21 1974 is in bad conditions and I need help fixing it I have to fix's the floor, the paint is bad conditions the ex owner paint the boat him self so trust me is bad the cabin is perfect and the engine I had to fix it at least well I like it but I got to fixis before its the water so her I go....

You shuld use the west system and be ready for rotted stringers. Good info on you tube.

Pretty engine, cabin, trailer and bright paint job, but none of that will matter if the stringers and transom are wet and rotting.
If the floor is soft the stringers will probably be rotted out, foam is soaked and transom too. The last place rot shows is in the deck, they rot from the hull ...up.

You should look at post dates, this is a 7 month old thread. The author hasn't even posted on the site since December.

Lets keep this post going. My floor in my 1995 23 nova was shot bad in one side only. All else is fine. I am doing the project as we speak.
