I just rebuilt my 1975 mercruiser 188hp ford 302 and got it put back in the boat. I have no spark and what is the best way to prime the fuel pump?

On the spark you need to start with the basics - do you have power at the coil with the switch on? If not, begin tracing it back.

On the pump - it will self prime. Usually the easiest way to start the engine when replacing the pump or starting with a new engine is to pour a little gas down the throat of the carb and try to start the engine. (I have an old plastic bottle that had air tool oil in it. It has a spout on it and makes it easy to squirt some fuel in the carb).
