There was a huge bass contest at the lake today as I was leaving. I was unaware of this or I'd of stayed home. I waited forever for 6 o clock(tourney start time) so they'd (29 of em)take off and give access to the courtesy dock . I trailered the boat jmped out started the truck and as I pullled up the ramp and turned the corner I bent the skeg slightly because I forgot to trim up. It is all still there just a little bent.

So, do I just bend it back slowly or is there risk of snapping it?

It's a 1991Johnson 150. Any advise would be great. thanks

I would probably leave it be since it is only slightly bent. You might make more problems trying to fix it.

I was just concerned that it might have an effect on the performance

The primary job of the skeg is to protect the prop...which it did. Performance??? You may be able to corner better in one direction, but not he other. I bet you'll not notice a thing.

Cool, i'd say that only about 2inches up about an inch and 1/2 forward got tweaked about 15 degrees.
